Born in Germany in 1975. Graduated from the English medical programme at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1999 and completed cardiology training at Florence Nightingale Hospital in 2004. Became associate professor in 2012 and professor in 2017. Elected Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) in 2008.
Since 2013, he has served as Director of Cardiac Catheterisation and Angiography at Liv Hospital Ulus. He is President of the Istanbul Interventional Cardiology Academy Association and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
